Green Hill Cafe Restaurant

I dropped by this restaurant by chance, but was really lucky. Staff service is very polite and warm. Also, it's atmosphere with Turkish music is just what I wanted. Foods are definitely yummy. Strongly recommend. I do believe that they never make you regret. One the best restaurants in the center of Istanbul.

Highly recommend, delicious food, fantastic service! Can only imagine the outdoor experience looks beautiful. Continued success to the team. We would definitely return if in Istanbul again.

I came here for a quick lunch and ordered the creamy lentil soup along with zucchini pancakes. Before the main dishes arrived, they served fresh bread with a flavorful spicy vegetable tartar, which was a nice touch. Everything tasted very good and felt freshly prepared. I also appreciated the complimentary black tea that was offered after the meal. The only slightly odd part was that the soup and the main dish were served at the same time, so by the time I finished the soup, the pancakes had lost some of their warmth. Aside from this small issue, I was very satisfied with my choice and would happily come back.

One of the best meals I’ve had in Istanbul. Overall, the food in the city is fresh and beautifully prepared, though the flavour often a little on the mild side (to my liking) but this restaurant was a wonderful exception. The dishes here were full of flavour and the service was warm and attentive. If you’re in the area, especially after visiting Hagia Sophia or the Blue Mosque, take a short walk to this restaurant. The staff are genuinely friendly and make you feel very welcome. I highly recommend the fried zucchini and the Sultan’s Favourite (which is tender lamb served on a bed of creamy cheese and flour mix) both were outstanding. They also treated us to complimentary tea, coffee, and a delicious spicy tomato mezze served with warm bread. Overall portion here quite big as well, good for sharing. The prawn mushroom dish was decent but not particularly memorable.

Highly recommended. Great atmosphere with elegant interior, top-notch service (which was much better and consistent across the staffs compared to other well known restaurants nearby), and the food (lamb skewers) was great.

I had a great experience here! The food was fresh and flavorful — I started with a Greek salad and stuffed peppers with cheese, and the lamb stew with vegetables that my server Celal recommended was absolutely perfect. Celal was attentive, kind, and made sure everything came out just right. You can tell he really cares about giving guests a good experience. Highly recommend this place and definitely ask for Celal if you’re here!

The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff were very professional, friendly, and welcoming. I really enjoyed both the food and the excellent service. In my opinion, they offer some of the best service in the whole town. Everything about my experience was great the team was truly wonderful!

We had an amzing lunch here. The smoked flavor and char on the octopus and veggies were a delight to our palates along with the savory ravioli. The service was top notch, very appeasing atmosphere. Highly recommend this place. High class all the way.
